About the Role: Associate Engineer – IT

As an Associate Engineer – IT at Flex, you’ll be a crucial part of our HR Systems team, supporting our global Human Resources initiatives. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys tackling complex problems with simple, effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Functional and Technical Support: Provide top-notch support for HR systems across multiple countries, ensuring seamless operations.
• Systems Analysis and Design: Partner with HR Subject Matter Experts to gather requirements, document processes, and configure systems for new HR initiatives.
• Application Configuration: Work on various HR programs and business processes, including Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time and Attendance, and more.
• Global Integration: Map and integrate local business processes with global standards, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all stages of the worker life cycle.
• Project Leadership: Lead or participate in data requirements and process design sessions, facilitating team processes and ensuring successful project outcomes.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Assist in managing UAT processes, ensuring thorough testing and user satisfaction before full-scale implementation.
• Business Analysis: Provide insightful analysis and re-engineering solutions to optimize business processes.

What We’re Looking For:

• A graduate with 0-2 years of experience in IT, preferably with a background as a Workday Technical Analyst.
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, XML, XPath, and XSLT, with basic developer knowledge of web services (SOAP, WSDL, and Schema relationships).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements and provide innovative solutions.
• A team player who excels in a diverse, high-pressure environment, building strong relationships with both customers and colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility to work across different shifts to support global teams in various time zones.
